Course Description

HRD Services run a public/open level 2 basic food hygiene course on the last Friday of every month at the Antrim Enterprise Agency.

Everyone is welcome to attend this CIEH accredited level 2 award in food safety in catering open course.

For £55 you will receive quality classroom training from an experienced tutor qualified to international hospitality management degree level with advanced food hygiene and HACCP management certificates.

The level 2 basic food hygiene certificate course includes advice and guidance on microbial, chemical, physical and allergenic contamination, personal hygiene, temperature control, storage, pest control, legislation and much more.

Ideal for food handlers from all sectors e.g. sandwich makers, chefs, salad dressers, bakers, processing units.

There are no prerequisites for this course apart from having a good standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT. HRD services offer added value in providing participants with access to a learning management system containing up to date materials for food safety.
